Jordan is supervised by Becca Coley, MA, LPC-S
From Jordan:
Taking the first step in seeking counseling takes courage, and I am honored to walk alongside each person I work with as they navigate the stressors and changes they are facing. I am hopeful to create a warm and welcoming space for clients to feel seen, cared for, and accepted through our work together.
Current Practice:
I am dedicated to providing a relational, honoring environment where therapy feels safe, hopeful, and empowering. I partner with children, adolescents, couples, and individuals from diverse backgrounds and seasons of life. My practice focuses on supporting clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, anxiety, and spiritual issues, always working toward personal wellness and wholeness. My work aims to be relational and honoring to each person and the unique experiences that they bring into our time together.
Training:
I am currently completing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seminary of the Southwest here in Austin. Before pursuing a career in counseling, I was involved in years of ministry experience with adolescents, young adults, and children. These experiences helped shape my passion for building meaningful connections with others, and they inform the way I approach the therapeutic relationship—with compassion, warmth, and collaboration. Because my training program emphasizes spirituality, I also welcome opportunities to incorporate clients’ spiritual beliefs, values, and experiences into our work when they are important to the therapeutic process.
Background:
I am an Austin native and in love with my hometown! I graduated from Texas A&M with my bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish before pursuing my training in mental health counseling. Before becoming a counselor, I worked in the technology space, where I experienced the tensions that can arise when balancing the stressors of work with personal convictions and desires as your career evolves. During my time at Texas A&M, I met my husband, and we married in 2022. We have been involved with Young Life since college and continue to serve and support the ministry in Austin. When I’m not working, you can find me diving into Deep Eddy Pool, trying a new bakery on the weekend, or hosting a crowded house of friends and family for dinner.
